Multiple award-winning Acoustic guitarist Tony Cox is known throughout South Africa
for his work as a performer, recording artist, and teacher.
Tony began his studies on the guitar when he was 9 years old. This means he has been
playing the guitar for 48 years and 30 of those were spent teaching the instrument.
Adept at many different styles of music, any student studying with Tony will develop
a healthy appreciation of just how the acoustic guitar can straddle many different
genres, among them folk, blues, pop, classical, rock, jazz, African, country, bluegrass
The theory of music as applied to the guitar makes up a big part of Tony's teaching.
Students can expect to study: reading (notes and TAB), keys, chords, harmony and
Raw beginners right through to advanced players are all welcome.

One-on-One - 1hr - R260 per lesson - Weekly – paid in advance monthly
One-on-One - 30min - R150 per lesson - Weekly – paid in advance monthly
One-on-One - MASTERCLASS - 2.5hrs - R850 - The master-classes are for any level of
skill and are arranged on an ad-hoc basis.

MONTH - ALSO, BI-MONTHLY LESSONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE**
To contact Tony and get started on lessons, simply reply to email:
1. A once-only deposit is required, the equivalent of 1-months' chosen fees and 1-months'
notice is required to terminate lessons
2. Fees are paid on the 1st of each month
3. There are no refunds for missed lessons – where possible, a lesson can be made
up at another time but only within the same week it is missed. If the lesson missed
is the fault of the teacher, you will be credited for the missed lesson.
4. Lessons are given during school and public holidays
5. Time slots are from 9 in the morning till 8 at night Mon to Fri. Masterclasses
are done on weekends depending on availability
6. Once you have discussed time and day with Tony, you confirm your chosen lessons
by depositing your fees into the bank account Tony will give to you once you have
decided to sign up.
